PART (Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation) has expanded bus service and now serves Kernersville Town Hall as the Park & Ride Lot. This service, provided during the Business 40 Closure, provides connections for commuters Monday-Friday to Downtown Winston-Salem and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Route 17 serves Kernersville Medical Center, Kernersville VA Health Care Center, Town Hall, Main Street, and then Downtown Winston-Salem and WF Baptist Medical Center. Route 18 serves Kernersville Town Hall, Kernersville Medical Center, VA Health Care Center and then connects to Greensboro at the PART Coble Transportation Center.
