Trickfest Ghoul

Trickfest @ the 4th

Saturday, October 25th

We're treating you to a free Saturday admission at the Kernersville Skate Park!  Food and extreme sports vendors will be on hand with demos throughout the day.  ALL SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY TO THE PARK!  Any vendors interested in participating, call Brandi at 992-0806 before October 20th to register for $25.  Food vendors will need to register by September 15th and be permitted by the Forsyth County Health Department.

PiesChildren's Pie Social

Friday, November 7th

Make a pie & bring it to the Recreation Building on South Park before 5:00pm on Thursday, Nov. 6th, so the Best of Kernersville's can judge them on taste and appearance.  The pies will be judged throughout the day on Friday and you can come back at 7:00p.m. to find out who the winners are, taste the leftovers, and play games with KPRD.  This FREE competition is open to kids ages 4-14 and ribbons will be awarded to the winners.  We can refrigerate the pies overnight, but we do not have the facilities to reheat them if necessary.


Magic for Muggles

Friday, November 14th

Join Jim Alberti, Magician Extraordinaire, in the Recreation Building at 6:00 p.m. for this fabulous magic workshop.  Register for $3.00 and get a bag of tricks, including a magic wand and the training to use it!  Call 996-3062 today to secure your spot.  We will also take registrations at the door if space is available.  This workshop is open to the first 100 children ages 7 and older.  For more information about Jim Alberti, go to www.albertifleacircus.com.


The Kernersville Christmas Tree Lighting

Saturday, December 6th

Join Santa and his friends in Harmon Park, 152 S. Main St., from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and see the magic of Christmas.  Hear local entertainment, enjoy hot chocolate, and see Santa light up the Kernersville Christmas Tree.  This event is sponsored by the Kernersville Community Appearance Commission with the Town of Kernersville's Planning and Parks & Recreation Departments.


The Kernersville Wedding Fair at Magnolia Manor
