The
Engineering Division is responsible for designing public improvements,
land surveying, construction, and watershed management. Many
of these services will be highly visible, such as the design
of street projects and storm drainage projects. Other projects
will be less visible but are necessary for the orderly development
of the Town. Some of these less visible tasks include general
mapping, data management, deed research, preparation of right-of-way
and easement maps, construction drawing and site plan reviews,
stormwater calculations, etc.
The
Engineering Division assists consulting engineers, architects,
developers and the general public with technical information
on streets, storm drainage, property lines, right-of-ways,
construction standards, etc.
