Town Facilities Closure Notice

As part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect our citizens and employees, effective immediately we will be closing the following Town facilities to walk-in business traffic:  Town Hall, Public Services and Parks and Recreation.

Fire Department Tests New Training Facility

KFRD personnel participated in live burn training today at the fire departments new training facility. The purpose of the training was to introduce department instructors to the new facility and techniques for fire rescue training.

Kernersville Winter Weather

Enhanced PART Express Bus Service with Park & Ride at Town Hall

PART (Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation) has expanded bus service and now serves Kernersville Town Hall as the Park & Ride Lot. This service, provided during the Business 40 Closure, provides connections for commuters Monday-Friday to Downtown Winston-Salem and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
