Stormwater Education
The Town of Kernersville has developed several programs to help educate citizens interested in learning about their local environment, streams, water quality, and their ecological address. Programs include watershed overview and education, stream education 101, backyard stream repair, stormwater education, stormwater BMP management and retrofit, backyard rain gardens, backyard wetlands, recycling and good housekeeping practices (leaf litter, yard waste, oil, grease, paint and fertilizer application). Custom topics negotiable as time allows.
