Fire Administration
The Administrative Division of the Kernersville Fire Rescue Department is responsible for the agency’s day-to-day operation and continuity of service provided to the community. The division provides the overall operational philosophy, leadership, and vision for the department. The Administrative Division works in concert with the department’s Operations and Prevention Divisions, as well as other Town departments, to continuously provide citizens and visitors with high-quality emergency services. The Fire Rescue Chief, Deputy Chief’s, Battalion Chief of Training, a Fire Administrative Specialist, and a Fire Operations Specialist make up the division.
The Administrative staff prepares and manage the department’s operating budget, oversees purchasing, sets departmental goals and objectives, and develops policies and operational guidelines. The division is also charged with creating plans for the future to ensure that, as the Town grows, our mission of providing quality service and preventing harm to the community we proudly serve never waivers.
