Join the planting party and help make the park beautiful with native, shade-loving plants. Staff will lead a small, hands-on demo about stabilizing creek banks.

Volunteers may plant as few or as many plugs, small containers and sticks we’ll hammer into the ground. These native plants are greatly needed to improve water quality, stabilize soil and provide quality habitat for our native birds, pollinators and amphibians. Dress as you would for gardening. Please wear shoes/boots in the creek. Tools will be available but you can bring your own gloves, mallet, trowel or shovel. This is a socially-distanced activity with a max of 25 slots available.
