Governor Cooper extends Phase 2 through September 11, 2020.
Safer At Home Phase 2 of lifting COVID-19 restrictions at 5 p.m. Friday, May 22
At 5 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2020, North Carolina will move into Phase 1 of the plan. The Stay at Home Order remains in place with some modifications.
As we prepare for a phased reopening, continued compliance with the Governor’s orders is critical.
To encourage social distancing, the walking trails at Fourth of July Park have signs posted designating the trails for one-way pedestrian traffic.
The Town of Kernersville will continue to fall within the restrictions of the Governor’s Stay-at-Home Order.

Beginning Monday, March 30 when the Governor’s Order becomes effective, both orders will be in place simultaneously. If the two orders conflict, the more restrictive of the two orders will apply.
