Come celebrate water and learn more ways to appreciate this valuable natural resource during Guilford Creek Week 2026. This activities are scheduled Saturday, May 30, through Saturday, June 6. Since parts of Kernersville town limits are within Guilford County, we help plan activities during this exciting week-long event!
This year the Town is offering volunteer events and a pop in at Triad Park.
All Week
- Pick up litter for your area. We’ll provide all the materials (vests, gloves, pickers, liability waivers, colorful trash bags, etc) and pick up the bags of trash. You just come get the supplies and let us know where you put the bags to be picked up.
- Install drain markers on your curb inlet. We provide the metal sign and tacking with a map of storm drain inlets in your area where you can add them.

Pop in for Creek Games near shelter 6 at Triad Park. Brought to you by the Town of Kernersville and Guilford County Planning & Development.
All ages welcome and no registration is required. We will not be getting in the creek but will have interactive games and models.
